episode 75: remarkably bright creatures book club

book club is back in session that it is and it is with my book club pick Remarkably We Were Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt.

So I had found family.

The wheel gifted that to me years ago, it seems.

It feels like.

Eons

ago.

Eons ago.

I took my time kind of thinking about it.

And honestly, I was really excited to get found family because I feel like that is just kind of my thing.

I don't know.

I think that really just tugs at the heartstrings, a lot of good friendship things of that nature.

So I was thinking about it, but then I went totally opposite of what I would have expected myself to choose.

And I'm not sure if I was really pleased with that decision.

But anyway, I kind of wanted to switch it up.

And Remarkably Bright Creatures kept popping up.

And I loved the film.

on Netflix, it came out recently.

I watched that and that made me cry and laugh and smile.

And I just want to experience it again.

So I was like, you know what, this could count.

So I chose it, and then I read the book, and, like, that wasn't really giving found family as much as I thought.
