Recently, I saw a couple of posts floating around social media, and one in particular was asking BookTok, what narrator voice can you not stand? And the responses were brutal.
Because I don't think I'm as visible in romance as many of the names that were being called out.
But what really struck me was that the same people that are winning awards and booking massive series and building incredible careers were also showing up as DNF narrators for listeners.
And it got me thinking about how terrified I am as an artist to reach a level of success that opens the door to that kind of criticism.
