Springing up trouble!

And really what it's talking about is, is about how when we get offended and when we receive offense and you can look at the wording there it says looking diligently lest any man a file of the grace of god lest any root of bitterness spring up to trouble you and so it talks about the fact that when we receive bitterness by getting offended then it corrupts us and then across the people that we speak to.

But it's up to us to not do it.

It said, And so this is the problem.

When offenses spring up, They trouble us and they trouble many others.

Many others are defiled.

If we receive the root of bitterness, then I'll tell you what happens.

Number one, something goes down.

And number two, something goes up.

So what goes down is the offense.

And I'll tell you, I'll go into the book, what happens when offense goes down.

First of all, it affects our emotions and we start seeing, hearing, remembering and imagining the offence.

And so it goes over and over in our mind time and time again.

And it percolates in there.

And I don't know if you've been offended.

I'm sure that you have.

But what happens is you just can't shake it.

You know, you get reminded of it and then you get reminded of it again and then again.

And then it just percolates in there.

But then it says it doesn't only go down, it comes up again because it does say springing up.
