Now, I'm sure you've heard me say this before, but I'm going to say it again.

2 Corinthians chapters 8 and chapters 9 is some of the greatest writings on finances, stewardship, giving and receiving, all these things.

But this is some of my favorite verses to go to in the New Testament, talking about abundance.

What is too much? Can you have too much abundance and things like that? So that's what we're covering today.

So 2 Corinthians 9, verse 8 says this, And God is able to make all grace abound towards you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

And we're talking about the dangerous side of abundance and how prosperity can be dangerous.

So the main thing is, when we look at this, is if we read this verse, first of all, there's a couple of things here.

In Philippians 4, 19, the Apostle Paul says to his partners, by the way, Philippians is a partner letter, so he's talking to his partners.

The Apostle Paul is talking to his partners there because he tells them, you're the only people that gave to me over and over again.
