Lessons from a Social Worker - Kate Adamek on the ALS United GOALS Podcast

My name is Tony Heil, Executive Director here at ALS United Mid-Atlantic.

And that includes not just the people living with ALS, but their caregivers and extended network of family and friends.

Because our social workers and nurses and our entire staff, we are here for you.

She is our social worker focused on the state of Delaware.

And as you can find Delaware on a map pretty easily, one of the top 50 states, in my opinion, one of the top three states in our area.

And he is... providing that one-on-one care for people with ALS and their families, listening to them, providing her years of experience, and making sure that they adapt to the situations and take on the programs and services that we have when they need them and trying to prepare ahead of time.
