I didn't know he had 62 in the bag.

Um, like I, I think that's an important thing to be able to kinda look at and say, "Hey, you can, you know, roll out of bed, go to a PGA Tour course and shoot a 62." Um, even though he got beat by, by his playing partner and then beat by Si Woo.

I think it was, like, the T-6th best round of the day or something, which, still good.

It was nice to see birdies and, and putts go and momentum, um, really continue.

I, I think part of what made this 62 so great, um, which was that momentum and the continuance of, of playing well throughout 18 holes, is what made Saturday so, um, awful.

Uh, turning, you know, those, the two, the cumulative score for those two days into 7 under, uh, versus starting 9 under and then, you know, adding a, a 2, 3, 4 under to it.

I know that that's not an elite round around Ranch, but, um, it just continues to kinda move up the board.

And instead, he, he rocketed straight down it.

Um, I didn't watch Saturday, unfortunately, but... or maybe fortunately-

... yeah, for my, for my eyeballs.

But, um, just those kinda rounds that you just can't, can't have.

I mean, this was pretty... one of those events where if he had gotten a 19 under and was, what, T12 or something, it's like, "Hey, [laughs] like, got to 19 under and you're not inside the top 10." You just chalk it up to a, a kinda brutal tour event.

Um-But to kinda let it go and make some mistakes in the way that he made, um, especially Saturday, just shooting two over on that golf course is not acceptable for a, a professional player, so.

Um, and it makes you wonder, too, 'cause he was third to last group out, the penultimate to the penultimate.

And every time we've seen him in some sort of contention, contention, quote-unquote contention going into Saturday, we saw it at the Cadillac.

Um, and I guess maybe you could argue he was sort of there at the PGA on Friday and Saturday.

Like, the rounds just weren't very good.

Um, when the pressure was high, the, the game was not there.

Uh, and I'm not even saying the pressure was on 'cause think even at that point he probably wasn't gonna win the tournament, but he's still probably, what, 10 to 18 holes a week away from being in s- serious contention.

And that's like, all right, so you're 75% of a really good player, which means you're a good player, which means you finish T19 at signature events or, or random tour events.

That's kind of just where we are.

And that is, you know...

We'll see if some time off here and getting to a couple tracks that I think actually fit his game pretty well helps, but there's definitely continued signs of it being more of a mental issue, I think, than a truly a physical one.

It's interesting.
