Lara Peco FazanesGuestScott R. MartinHostTell us just very briefly, for those who are just jumping in or need a reminder, what is it you do at GP Athletics and how it's going to connect with families?

I created GP Athletes because of my own experience, because I went to the US with a tennis scholarship.

I was not motivated at all with my academic experience and my athletic experience.

So basically, GP Athletes is that, you know, like giving families and students the information, the tools, the support to go to the US or even Canada if they want.

to study and develop not only academically and athletically, but also personally, but more importantly, to feel value in the process.

Because I know that anyone can go and there is so many people doing this, but what I want is to feel value doing this and also the student feel the same way.
And I always, I apologize, I say this, When I refer to GP athletics, athletes, I often say athletics, and it's just a frame of mind.
And I think as a parent, I want my... my child, even though they're now adults, nearly adults, I still want them to be valued.
And I think in, in athletics and in sports and in general, there's such a sense of athletes as a commodity as that are kind of bought and traded.
And we see that in athletics, you know, somebody's traded to this and there's something very uncomfortable about that.
And one of the things that I've really appreciated in my conversations with you and the way you do your work is the value that you have for the students that you work with.
And I certainly, if that's something I would want for not only my child, birth child, but also for any of the students that I'm working with, if you're looking at a sports career and looking at college sports as part of that path, making sure that you're valued in that process, I think is so important and not just valued for your potential earnings or the money that you'll make, but valued as a person.
I suspect, and we've talked about this a little bit, that there's a lot of misinformation about this whole process.
