Episode 7: Should the Habs Target Travis Konecny?

So let's dive in initially right off the bat here with the goalies.

I think this one is mounting.

I think this is a hot-button topic, and I think it's mounting up.

I think given the nature that Dobesh has been a little bit shaky of late as well, and Fowler being the number one guy that they're going to to make sure that they get the best possible outcome for some wins here, um he was he made those comments i know a little bit out of context but the the general take of his comments was he thought he played well enough to earn a spot on the team uh was a little bit you know as he should be going down to laval but now he's up there monty will be coming back it's inevitable and so here we are we'll start with you dave what is going to happen once sam montable comes back from ir

It looks like we're going to be headed toward another three-goalie carousel that we've been ranting and raving about.

I think there's no choice.

The way they've positioned themselves, they can't put Fowler down now.

I mean, they're playing him every game.

There's no point in putting Jacob Fowler down now.

So the thing would be to trade Sam Montembeau or Jakob Dobesch if they've decided that Fowler's the guy.

That would be wild.

Wouldn't that be wild?

Yeah.

I mean, it's a possibility at this point.

I think it's very clear that Jacob Fowler is their guy and that's who they're going with.

You know, Jakob Dobesch had four games after bringing his team, carrying his team.

to the Eastern conference final and four wins away from the, from the Stanley cup final.

You got four games to lose your spot basically.

And it's kind of crazy that it happened that way, but it did.

So I think that's where we're headed.

I think we're headed towards, I don't think they want to trade Dobesh.

I think they'll try to trade, you know, Sam Montembeau first.

I don't know how hot the trade is.

I'm talking trade, yeah.

I'm talking trade.
