I want to talk about something that I think is very misunderstood when it comes to the personal development space, and that is the difference between confidence and worthiness.

Like if you just build enough confidence, if you take enough action, if you show up enough times, if you do enough reps, the worthiness will follow naturally.

And I've seen it play out too many times within myself and in the lives of creatives that I work with to keep letting this idea not be discussed.

i was talking about this with a woman that i know who was like doing everything right quotations around right she is confident she is taking bold ass action you guys would be so freaking impressed like this woman is just constantly doing things that scare the shit out of her going big and going bold after the things that she really wants she is showing up consistently and putting real effort behind all of her work and yet something wasn't translating The results that she was working towards kept feeling like they were just out of reach.

And when she really dug into it, like really, really dug into it, what we found out wasn't a confidence problem at all.

She felt confident in her actions, but she didn't actually believe she deserved the outcome that she was working toward.

Or, you know, another version of this is like, you don't believe that you're meant to book that co-star or that guest star or that series regular.

You don't believe really that you deserve or can handle that big, massive voiceover campaign or getting the money that you're currently trying to get to make your first feature film.

So in all those examples, it's not really believing, not in that deep, quiet place where the real beliefs live.

And that gap between the confident action and the genuine worthiness was her invisible ceiling the entire time.
