Kind of a rare thing.

And I saw all these things all around social media saying this is the last day until 2037 when that old Chicago song, Saturday in the Park, I think it was the 4th of July, is going to be on the correct day.

It's not that common when the Sunday session of General Conference is actually on Easter Sunday.

So several of the general authorities pointed that out, including Elder Cook.

But he also added that, quote, this Easter Sunday also coincides with the magnificent vision of the Savior that occurred in the Kirtland Temple on Easter Sunday of 1836, 190 years ago, just a week after the Kirtland Temple was dedicated.

thought that's an interesting thing to point out to have the old world scriptures that we believe in with the savior and the modern day doctrine of covenants appearance of the savior so it was fun to have those two put side by side he focused a lot on elijah and that's what stood out to me he says the second section of the doctrine and covenants contains moroni's words to joseph smith relating to elijah Behold, I will reveal unto you the priesthood by the hand of Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.

That struck me because we heard a lot about Easter.

This talk discusses a lot about Easter.

But it's interesting having this callback to Elijah and how he's this connecting point from the Bible into the Doctrine and Covenants.

And literally, this doctrine is a connecting point between ancestors and descendants.

That got me thinking.

I grew up in Utah.

I live in Idaho now.

I've lived in Iowa.
