You got a trip to the Goldie out of it as well, which is always
bit of sunshine.
To start the season without Los North Melbourne and then to have these two wins, it must feel totally different walking into the club today as it was two weeks ago.
Like I feel though after that North Melbourne game, we sort of, as much as the scoreline sort of looked like a bit of a blowout, we weren't really too worried about sort of what had happened.
And, you know, I feel like after any win or loss, it's pretty cliche to say that you want to walk through the four walls and sort of feel the same or look or present the same.
So we definitely wasn't like alarm bells going off after that first game, but definitely always exciting after a couple of wins being up in the Gold Coast as well.
Yeah, and how was it up in the Goldie? Did you have any downtime? Did you get to the theme parks? I mean, I know that Scooby coaster would have my name on it.
I think a few of the staff members' families went up, so I think a few of them were going to the theme parks after the game.
It was good to get up there with the girls and enjoy some sunshine and quality time together.
Usually we're sort of in and out after a game, but it was nice to have an extra day there to sort of enjoy the sun, jump in the ocean and, yeah, touch base with everyone.
Is it like a kind of a reminder of what Geelong and the surf coast can be like in the warmer months?
Oh, well, we appreciate that.
