And when designing a landscape, it's that visual texture, as opposed to the tactile touch, that probably is more important.
Or is it? My experience in the garden center industry for years was watching people as they shop.
Speaking of touch, I'm wearing my retired summer washed linen shirt, just because it's nice and soft and bumpy and I like it, and it has great texture.
There is such a thing, and if you think about it, all the instruments coming together to create something that's emotional and beautiful, layers upon layers, uh, that's texture in music.
It's important in our landscape, because it's going to affect the overall s- uh, emotion and character, uh, of your landscape.
But Stacey, I think for me, uh, when we talk about texture, contrast is super, super important to me.
Uh, dynamic, harmonious, um, kind of creating that, that spatially pleasing outdoor space.
Uh, I believe that it's the contrast between objects that really makes texture an important component of the landscape.
