Home Grower Tips For Hemp Bill Change

Big changes happening in the c- uh, the beautiful country of America in regards to genetics, in regards to the Hemp Bill in particular, and a lot of people think this is gonna have some, some pretty large effect on the home grower.

So I think it's important today that let's try to give a breakdown of what our opinion is in regards to the changes that we might see coming, and tips the home grower can do to kind of avoid it all.

Yeah, man.

Yeah, people are scared.

I've, I've gotten so many comments of people just wondering like, "Hey, is this actually going to go through?" A lot of people think it's gonna be kind of delayed as well, is something we can kind of get into.

But i- if you're a home grower, being able to get genetics, it's gonna become a lot more difficult.

So that's, I think, kicking in what, in November or something like that? I know Pigeons, you know all the details on it, right?

Well, I like to think I do.

I've spoke about it a few times.

I think that it's all really up for interpretation, but the reality is is that on paper, the massive change to the Hemp Bill is gonna come down to they are changing the definition to include the plant as a whole rather than just THC.

So the biggest change is that in 20- in the, in the Farm Bill it previously stated that essentially legal product was anything that contained anything less than .03% of THC, total THC.

Now it's gonna include the entire plant, the entire cannabinoid system.

So now we're not just looking at THC, you're looking at CBD, CBG, CBN, THCA, C- CBDV, all these things.

So now there's just a major constraint or restriction on what kind of product is gonna be passed as legal.

So that's where I guess, as you mentioned Chris, the fear comes in where people are like, "Well, what does this mean for getting genetics? 'Cause as of right now I can, I can get genetics.

What can, w- what's gonna happen in November?" So that's the biggest change, and now it's a matter of how do we cope with that change, if that's how it happens.

Yeah, I mean you really see the fear is coming in I think from people who have been in this since 2018.

You know, newer consumers, newer growers.

'Cause a lot of us, man, we've been just getting T-shirts or mugs with our stuff and we pay a little extra.

Like the price point and the accessibility has never been so good, I will say.

Like it's way easier now.

I don't have to send money orders, I don't have to send cash to many people.

I can just go right through a website which is cool.

But as these law change, laws change we get to that fear of well the accessibility is gonna tighten up.

But then with the accessibility tightening up, risk and reward becomes a thing and I think price is gonna change too.
