Why I showered today

Ever since my friend Dave Gregg in Aberdeen, Scotland started showing videos and telling me that he was in the habit of going into the North Sea every day for a swim.

Ever since that happened and ever since by some peculiar process, he influenced me so that I started having cold showers every day of the year and kept it up and have kept it up.

Well, when I say every day, I don't mean literally every day.

Sometimes it was every two days, but that's just in inverted.

That's just in, anyway, that's just a minor matter.

But ever since that happened, I've been pleased to have a shower.

Until I started feeling a cold coming on recently, a few days ago.

And when I got a nose cold or a chest cold or whatever you want to call it, man flu maybe, As I got chilly in the lead up to the cold taking a grip on me I didn't want to get under water so I didn't so let's say I skipped a shower on on a Tuesday by Wednesday there was no chance I was going to have a shower Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, I haven't had a shower.

Not only have I not had a shower, but I've been wearing dark shirts.

I couldn't bring myself to put any kind of warm color on.

They had to be dark gray, dark blue.

with a dark pullover over the top.

I'm not sure what the word for this type of behavior is, but it certainly felt like I didn't want to be seen out there in the world.

I just wanted to hide behind something while I felt miserable.
