In this episode, I discuss how to gain agreement in the sales process through a series of four questions and nine specific closing choices you have as you ask for and finalize the franchise sale.
I'm gonna break this into two parts.
This will be part one of our discussion.
So to start off with, I wanna talk about this idea that the beginning affects the end.
When you're working in franchise sales, what happens at the beginning of your conversation with the franchise candidate really matters for what's going to happen at the end.
Remember, franchise candidates are really buying you and the experience of working with you.
So your goal is to be able to be successful at helping them understand from the very beginning why you're there, what you can help them with, and get them excited about the business opportunities that are going to be best for them to get started in their business.
So remember, a positive disposition on your part will lead to a buying decision on the franchise candidate's part.
And a negative disposition on your part is going to lead to them probably not doing anything at all.
So it's more important to be positive.
Sometimes you're going to have people that just aren't ready to buy a business, where they just aren't even sure if they want to do a business.
They're just kind of testing the waters and realize in the discovery process, they're not prepared to buy a business yet or start a business.
They're not financially prepared or they're not emotionally prepared.
There's a lot of other things that go into actually owning and starting your own business.
But you'll never be successful at making sales if you don't have a positive disposition.
And that's what's going to lead to a buying decision.
They're trusting you and people that aren't sure what to do next.
And there's a lot of people that have made bad choices, I guess, in the past.
They are expecting and they're kind of trusting you.
They're looking to you for that trust and confidence that things will go forward and they can be successful at what they're doing.
So one thing I want to talk about in particular about this idea is that if you're going to be successful in a positive disposition, one of the first things you need to know how to do that correctly while you're overcoming objections.
