I still haven't gotten the full story here of whether he was actually hit by somebody in the... batting practice or if the ball hit the fence i've heard two different stories the ball hit the top and then it hit him back on the head um overall it was the story the main story was he wasn't wearing a helmet so like i mean i coached t-ball this year from t-ball on what do you code i mean what do you always you know what are you all supposed to have rick from what are you all supposed to have whenever you're like have a bat around is any any idea any idea we're supposed to have a
professionals, but there's just been this macho kind of work through it, do whatever you want, kind of mode with the Mariners this year that it goes into Bryce Miller.
I feel like it goes into what some of the cold Emerson was going through this year of like, kind of whatever it takes, like, and like, this is going to become more emblematic of it somewhat in ways of like, Oh, I don't need a helmet.
Like, kind of annoying in a lot of ways because it's it's actively hurt the team it's actually hurt the team the entire season and brent donovan tried to play through stuff earlier and maybe he wasn't fully ready obviously cal raleigh and it just uh i don't know it's uh when i look back at the injuries it's not surprising with the way that this team goes sometimes and it just i think it points to actually probably the coaching side of things and also just the players themselves um Trying to, I don't know, be a little too tough about it, being, you know, I don't need this, right? I'm not thinking ahead at all, and it's actually hurt the team.

Emerson Hancock was just placed on the 15-day I.L., Nick Davila was recalled because of that.
Nick Davila originally got optioned earlier, like the week prior, and then Carlos Vargas was activated.
