ALL THINGS BABY: LINKED ON SHOPMY…
Victoria AlarioHost
When I think about myself before I met my husband, before I got engaged, before I was planning some big elaborate wedding, like I could not have fully pictured what my everyday life would look like now.

You know? Like, that's something that we forget when we're in that waiting season.

Like, we imagine what it will feel like to finally get the things, the big things that we're asking for, but we don't imagine all of the little moments that come with it.

We don't imagine the random conversations at 11 o'clock at night when you're laying in bed.

We don't imagine waking up, you know, next to the same person every morning and what that's like.

We don't imagine the disagreements where we're on each other's last nerve and then laughing five minutes later because we just can't even take each other seriously at the moment.

The thing that I prayed for all those years didn't just arrive in one big beautiful moment on my wedding day.

Quite frankly, I think it's funny how, like, how much leads up to the wedding.

And this is also why I didn't wanna have a long engagement, and I didn't, like, wanna go so crazy with certain things.

Like, I just wanted-- Like, I bo- w- whoever was meant to be a vendor at my wedding and whatever was meant to be, that was gonna be.

And, like, I just, I booked what I booked as quickly as I possibly can, and I had the wedding as quickly as we possibly could, and I just did it all.
