Let's just say, whatever I told you before, don't listen to anything I told you before because I could basically take everything that I thought I knew about elk hunting, not everything, just where they are bedding and where you're going to find them right now.
And we're going to get into maybe why that is, what my theory is on why they've changed habits.
obviously pressure, time of year, breeding, I think those are all important aspects of why they've changed patterns.
So anything I've talked about before regarding bedding locations, transition zones, basically just take that and just chuck that out the window.
Thursday night, we went and did some scouting, did some calling, looked at some deer, did some grouse hunting.
Normally, and I've been talking about this a lot, like in, you know, a lot of the things we talk about on podcasts, not just my podcast, but information out there in the, just like in general, It's like it's not an end for all.
What I've learned over the past week is is one of those not always so previously we've talked about where to look for elk what elk need i still think they need the same thing because they do they go from bedding to feed to bedding that's their life now when the rut is on it's very we talked about being very chaotic very unpredictable very scattered a lot of movement i think the elk get a lot more pressure When the rut is on, I think they get, especially when there's hunters around, when there's wolves, they call.
