Evan FairmontGuestToday, we're going to talk about energy and power and what's shaping up to be one of the most significant investment cycles we've seen in decades.
There's a tremendous amount happening in this market, and I've got a great team with me today to help unpack what's driving it, where it's headed, what it means for companies across the built environment.
What is different, however, is the convergence of forces we're seeing today and the scale of the opportunities and challenges that they're creating for market players.
That's caused us to bring our capabilities together in a much more focused way around the energy and power space.
To help unpack all that, I'm joined by four of my FMI colleagues who bring two different but highly complementary perspectives to the conversation.
Blake Angelo and Evan Fairmont are partners within FMI Consulting and co-lead our energy and power practice.
Blake and Evan have spent much of their careers helping utilities developers and contractors plan and execute complex energy infrastructure programs.
Together, their management consulting experience includes more than $6 billion in energy infrastructure projects spanning utility-scale renewables, thermal generation, and transmission and distribution systems.
Joining them from FMI Capital Advisors are Managing Directors Russell Clark and Andrew Henderson.
Russell and Andrew advise companies across the energy and power ecosystem on mergers and acquisitions and capital formation.
Their work spans utility infrastructure services, engineering, distributed energy, energy services and software, and other businesses supporting the broader energy transition.
Together, the four of them helped author FMI's inaugural Energy and Power Overview, which we'll use today as the jumping off point for the conversation.
Blake, Evan, Andrew, and Russell, thanks for being here and welcome to the show.
