Hey, everybody, and welcome back to FLEP24, the French presidential election podcast for 2027.
Ali is on the train to Amphi, which is LFI's basically summer camp, you could say.
They call it Compte des Dés, and they just basically have conferences and speeches and political... analysis going on to rally the troops before the rentree which is like you know back to school back in september people go back to school people go back to work so ali will be providing us with some dispatches from lfis and melancholy today actually august 20th has just turned 75 so this is probably his last rentree as a presidential candidate you know um definitely his last rentree as a major political figure on the french left unless he wins the election so he's down there lfi has just started releasing this documentary series which i haven't watched at the first episode so it's like an hour and a half which is called the road to victory so they're really trying to set things off on a good note for september when they're going to start campaigning non-stop i saw that they have about 6 000 people over three days who are coming militants and supporters but i am not there so i'll hold down the fort elsewhere i'm a little behind as i mentioned last times on my news reading but there's a couple of stories i wanted to highlight Long-time listeners might remember Bruno Le Maire, the former finance minister under Macron.
