So with salmon season right around the corner, I thought this would be a really good opportunity to give you guys a little bit of a behind-the-scenes how-to so you can set yourself up for success, make sure not only you have your license and are legal to go fishing...

But all of your guests that are coming from out of town can easily and seamlessly purchase their license and be legal on the water.

So what I did after the weekend, I called WDFW with a list of questions and also common complaints that I've heard from other anglers saying, just to get the real hard truth about what is legal, what isn't, and what kind of support you guys can get if you do get stuck in this process.

But if you call 360-902-2464 and hit option one, you can get help during the night and during weekends.

During office hours, you're going to get the best support by an actual employee of WDFW, but you can get after hours tech support as well if you do need to troubleshoot, which I sure as heck wish we would have done because what we came to find out there was a back-end thing that the gal had to do on her side to give my dad a quick temporary password and get him out of that weird login loop.
