Some guys jumped him and beat him up real bad.

He hurt so bad he just laid on the ground, hoping someone would come help him.

I think they called him that 'cause he had a summer tan, a good summer tan.
And when the tan guy saw the man with the black eye, he put a Band-Aid on all his cuts and bruises.
Then he let him have a ride on his donkey, and he took him to a hotel and paid for him to stay there for a couple of nights till his black eye and all his other cuts and bruises went away.
