You know? So to start off, I'm gonna give a little debrief of the incident, and I'm bringing something out of Austin, Texas-

Um, fairly relevant, but, um, I wanted to go a little bit on the radio side.

So this one, um, we will, we'll hear a little clip of some radio traffic, uh, coming up here.

But let me give you a little background here, Ashley.

So this is, uh, occurring...

I'm gonna breeze through this.

It's a rather long debrief, but, um, this is occurring at 2:00 PM, uh, in Austin, Texas.

Um, basically, uh, before I get to, that's the heat of the incident at 2:00 PM, an officer is, um, in an unmarked vehicle doing surveillance, and he starts following a car that turns out to be stolen.

Mm-hmm.

So, uh, we end up at a gas station where he pulls in, um, the suspect pulls in, um, to the gas station.

Um, he exits the vehicle and goes inside to the convenience store.

So this is when they were coordinating...

Let me get to the meat of it.

Uh, they were coordinating a response, um, knowing that he went inside, and turns out he had a gun inside.

He saw an officer approaching.

At one point, um, I'm speeding up the timeline a little bit here, but at one point, basically one of the clerks comes running out and says, "He has a gun, but I also left my coworker in there." Um-

Hostage

... not left, but now we have a potential-

Well, they didn't get out
