Hastily constructed airplanes, catapulted boulders, and a princess who isn't safe in her sweet dreams. Stuff In Dreamland is an actual play podcast of Threadbare, a PbtA tabletop roleplaying game.
Sofia YangGuestAdventurers, the covered wagon bumps along a muddy cart path through the surrounding woods, hitting something hard despite the drizzling rain and slow pace.
Old Roy hollers an apology from the driver's seat up front, "Sorry about that, missus.
Won't be long, we'll be in Nottingham." The pair of you were directed to travel to Nottingham by Elvana Butterscotch back at the guild, and you recall her grimacing as she handed you the train tickets for the first leg of your journey south into the country of Kiara.
"Something feels odd about this request," she told you.
"Be careful out there.
Look out for one another, okay?" The mission briefing instructed you to travel to Nottingham and invase- and investigate the magical disruption taking place, the persistent rain being one of those effects.
Your contact is listed as Regent Theodore Stuffy I, and you're instructed to find him at the Temple of the Sleeping Princess.
Uh, help me paint the picture, players.
What are your characters doing to pass the time on this wagon ride to Nottingham?
Well, Lia is, um, has a book, and she's just furiously writing in it sometimes, and then sometimes she's just trying to remember things, and, um, well, she did s- tell Sofia earlier that it's a spell book, and she's trying to remember all the spells that she knows that aren't really hers, so she can remember them later, kind of just storing them for later use.
Oh, yeah, no, 'cause right now she can basically cast spells as a sorcerer, but they're wizard spells.
So she's trying to transcribe them so that once the reason why she can cast them right now is gone, she can still have them and relearn them.

A giant tear is right at the edge of her single eye as she holds the pink jacket in her hand.

This pink jacket has gotten very beaten up, badly singed, and it's just gross and dirty after the adventures that she's been on.
