In this episode, Tabs explores what it really means to **leave the train station** in your spiritual awakening. In the beginning, it’s completely normal to look for validation. You’re learning to…
That is the need for validation, and I think specifically during our spiritual awakening.
I see this pop up quite a bit during mediumship, but it seems to be the strongest and the most persistent during spiritual awakenings.
I think we need to receive validation for us to understand that it's real, that it's possible, especially if it doesn't fit into our previous belief systems, which, hello, that was me.
I did not have any of these belief systems before, which is so 360 if I were to talk to myself five years ago.
Maybe asking spirit to show you a sign, to show you another sign, to show you it again and again and again.
I, I've had people tell me that they've asked for the same sign, like, 12 times.
Was that really my intuition? Did I really know that, or was that just a coincidence? That's another really common question I think people tend to ask themselves.
Was that really my loved one? When they receive a message or a sign, oftentimes they will try to explain it away.
Another one, and I think I got this one tons at the beginning, like, did I really just know that? [laughs] Did, did I know that was going to happen, or did I know that they were going to say that? I can't even th- like, I can't even count the number of times that I knew something before it happened, and I'd always be like, "That was weird.
How did I know that? That was crazy." And I never had any answers, but I was, like, still questioning and kinda skeptical.
So that would've been probably in, like, the first month, month and a half that I knew something was really going on with me.
And then a really common one, and this applies into, like, many different areas of spea- spiritual awakenings: Can you show me it again? Show me that again.
I don't think there's anything wrong with any of these questions or wanting validation in any of these areas of your awakening.
I think there's a reason that we do it, but there's also a point where we have to stop asking spirit to prove itself, you know, the signs to prove themselves more, the universe to prove itself, whatever we're waiting for proof to arrive for.
