If you were to have a heat map of the full portfolio of companies that are approved and that have made it through.
How would you say that heat map has evolved over the past 10, 20 years from a geographical standpoint? So like US, China, Europe, how would you say that has evolved? I'm curious to see where we're heading and where we've come from, like as a nation and as a world.
Yeah, because of the way that we have put out products over time, What we did initially was create a US index, and that was in 2018.
Then we created a Europe index in 2021, a global index again later in 2021, then an international index in 2022.
And somewhere along the way, we also created a small to mid-cap company index, which was global, but was restricted to very small companies under $10 billion in size.
So I can't really answer that question in terms of whether the space has changed geographically because we've had these different products coming out at different times.
A very key factor in the last four or five years has just been the growth of the US market.
And if you're putting any index together, generally, you're putting it together on a market cap basis.
And because the US market has performed extremely well, the US market has actually increased in size as a proportion of the global markets.
And that's really been much more of a factor in terms of geographic weightings than anything else.
