Miami Dolphins BIGGEST Need Isn’t QB Or WR…

Uh, you know, obviously the unfortunate, we're 0 and 3, we're sitting here, but I don't know kind of where you stand, but man, honestly, I was kind of fairly impressed with the effort.

Uh, you know, I'm not, I'm not a big participation trophy kind of guy, but, you know, I could sit here and tell you the f- the f- the sky is falling or I could tell you that Jacob Rodriguez looks like one of the best defensive rookies in the NFL.

You know, I could tell you the sky is falling, or I could tell you that Caden Proctor, despite having Aaron Brewer and Patrick Paul on your offensive line, looks like the best player on that offensive line right now, right? I could tell you the sky is falling, or I could say, "You know what? We haven't seen a lot of them, but what I've seen early from Chris Bell and Caleb Douglas gets me excited about what this wide receiver, uh, unit could look like in the future," right? I could tell you the sky is falling, or I could say, "You know what? That little undersized safety that they got out of Texas, Michael Taff, looks like a pretty damn good, uh, you know, good football player." I'm not saying he's the guy that, you know, needs to be a bonafide starter in your secondary, but he's out there making plays, doing it.

So, you know, we, I think we've been pretty consistent on saying that, like, you know, we didn't expect this team to win a lot of games this year, and if that rookie class is paying big dividends, you know, that was something to be excited about and, you know, I couldn't be happier, led by Jacob Rodriguez.

I, I think, I thought Jacob Rodriguez was gonna be good.

I don't know if I thought he would be this good so soon, and the athleticism, the IQ, all that stuff, you see it all.

But man, I mean, you feel him in every game, you know.

You see number 10, he's making plays.

I mean, Kenneth Walker is not an easy guy to bring down, and he's in the backfield lighting them up.

Uh, you know, rookie class looks awesome.

Um, you know, the elephant in the room, I think, comes around the quarterback position, right? [laughs] Like, you know, uh, Malik Willis is the guy.

He, he's playing.

Um, he's exciting.

He runs around, uses his legs a lot.

I don't know how well he's playing quarterback right now, though, right? So that's one of the things, I think, I expected maybe a little bit more out of Malik than we're getting, but the rookie class looks good.

Good to see Aaron Brewer get back on track with a good game.

Patrick Paul had a pretty good game.

Uh, I think overall the defense played really, really well.

Um, you know, I don't think it was a factor in the outcome of the game, but God, man, I, I, I hate what the officials can do to NFL.

Like, I hate the fact that Chop Robinson makes a play and gets flagged.

There was another flag on the play, so the drive would've been extended.

It doesn't bleed into the a- outcome of the game, but I, I just hate some of these rules and how they're, the certain players are protected.

I, I thought that was, like, one of the downsides of the game.

But, you know, obviously the big news is, uh, losing Devon Achane for the season.

That sucks.
