While Harry attempts to avert a catastrophe involving his wife, Kevin’s concern was rather on what his sister, Seraphina, was planning. Was that really the time for that kind of question?
Kevin and Seraphina belong to that family but Harry doesn’t. He just works for them.
That whole not-really-family problem is what my video on Why Harry Is Quietly Planning His Way Out was all about. This time it comes out of Harry’s own mouth, to a Harrigan’s face. If you ask me, Harry should have made a statement like that a long time ago, “I just work for the Harrigans.” That is the simple truth. The man had put family and marriage on the line for the Harrigans for way too long. It was finally time to put them first for a change.
Yes, Harry doesn’t make enough time for his own family because of his job. He’s mostly absent from home and not there for the appointments, vacations and quality time but make no mistake by thinking that when push comes to shove, Harry will choose the Harrigans over Jan. He wouldn’t.
