You know, I loved going to the farm with my uncles and my cousins, whether it was moving pigs around, you know, taking cattle wherever they needed to go, hopping in the tractor with my cousins, racing the four-wheeler, checking the moisture on the bales, doing all that kind of stuff.

My uncles would probably get tired of me sometimes and they'd say, just go, just go drive around.

So anytime they asked to go back there, um, I would, I would love to go back there and help them out whenever I could.

And you've said publicly that, uh, those experienced help shape your, uh, your playing career, not only at Iowa, but, uh, your successful run in the National Football League, and really helped shape your approach to life.

Yeah, you know, I always say this, but farmers, no matter what, you've got to figure out a way to get something done.

I mean, obviously you're going to have helpers, but those animals depend on you, and crops too.

You know what I mean? So you got to come back with a good attitude and, and attack the day.

So I think, I think just growing up on the farm and watching my uncles overcome obstacles, watching, you know, um, whoever, whoever I've been associated with on the farm, there's something always is always going to go wrong, but you got to figure out how to fix that problem right there and find a solution.

Cause if you don't find a solution, um, then you've either got animals out or whatever.

So it's always about, I would say, finding a solution fast or coming each day ready to work.
