Zechariah 1 & 2 - YHWH is Coming - Are you ready for Him?

We have a lot of material to cover today.

I'm just gonna say that up front.

So if you set the pre-timer on your stove for the roast, it may burn.

No, I'm just kidding.

No, we're covering some very difficult material.

I want you to think in your mind of the weirdest dream you've ever had.

Like the most bizarre dream And then you wake up like immediately, right? Because most of the time I can't remember my dreams.

But you wake up in that and you're like, there's got to be some meaning here.

And so then you try to explain that to your family the next morning.

I had a dream that I was flying through the air and all of a sudden my car was falling off a cliff and it was snowing and all of those things.

That's what we're doing today.

Zachariah is going to have eight visions.

We're gonna look at three of them today.

And these visions are apocalyptic visions.

They are meant to be bizarre.

And they're so bizarre that you're probably at the end going to ask me the same thing that Zachariah is going to ask to the heavenly messengers.

What does this mean? Because that's exactly what these are about.

So the next few sermons are going to be hard to make clear.

I'm going to be honest, in a 45-minute time frame.

There's going to be much repetition.

That's just good teaching.

So you're going to get a lot of the same stuff.

But I'm going to ask you to be patient as Nate and I attempt to explain the crazy visions of Zechariah.

They are full of theology, as well as references to the early prophets.
