They first came out in 2020, and there's kind of been a slow rise in concern throughout the years.

I think it was in 2021 when European regulators started to step in and raise concerns.

The latest launch, which I believe was around June of this year, was launched with Kylie Jenner.

And I think that's where we started to really see concern and a really mass outrage because, I mean, first of all, not everyone loves Kylie Jenner.

Another interesting thing, and you know something is officially a thing when Kmart launches a version of it.

Their ANCO brand has actually recently launched a replica of these smart glasses.

And of course, the loudest voices are from women because like with a lot of tech.

So there's actually a petition that's been going around to sign to ban these glasses.

And from what I can see in the comments, people aren't able to access that link.
