All right, so Cincinnati,

an

absolutely terrible, terrible city, but it is the site of a magic tournament.

And young Dan Schriever had his eyes set on the big prize.

I got blown out early and often in this tournament.

I mean, for starters, my wife had studied in Cincinnati, so she had some friends there.

We were going to go visit them.

We decided, you know, it's not that far away, maybe eight hour drive and we can split it.

She'll see friends.

So I'm like, yeah, this would be a fun getaway.

Get us a cute Airbnb, things like that.

Fine plan, but moments before the tournament, you know, she had to back out.

So I was like, all right, well, suddenly my plan did not look so good.

I'm just like driving solo for eight hours across country.

Oh

my God.

Through West Virginia, seeing all the Confederate flags hanging from random state highways.

That was interesting.

Charming drive.

But anyway, the Airbnb was cute.

Actually, the city was kind of nice.

I had some good barbecue there.

good taco joints, things like that.

I kind of like Cincinnati.
