Bart Gregory, Jay Hopson, and Charlie Winfield break down State's massive 41-34 win at South Carolina to advance to 3-0.
Jay HopsonGuestBart GregoryHostCharlie WinfieldHostMan, I'll tell you, you look at that first quarter and how the game kind of evolved early on, and you felt fortunate to be down 16 to nothing.
It was just one of those situations where they came out and they drive down and score.
We kept them out of the end zone, and then you throw the pick on that first play, and And, you know, boom, you're down 10 to nothing.
And it was very similar to what we saw last week with Minnesota when they kind of book, you book in some scores around, you know, a three and out or short possession.

Well, one thing, and give Coach Arnett and give the defense a lot of credit, they didn't allow him in the end zone.

And, you know, that's a little bit, I've talked a lot about that 2022 Arkansas game.

Arkansas moved the ball with Kendall Bryles, but they didn't score in the red zone.

And, again, I just thought their back was against the wall, but they played really good.

You know, one time they kind of did a little unbalanced formation, and they kind of got us discombobulated in our coverage and our front, and the Sellers kid took a little zone read for a big play.

But I thought we battled hard, especially in the first quarter, because big turnover early, defense's backs against the wall, but I thought they answered the bell.
But I'll tell you what, I feel better about Camario Taylor after tonight than I have at any time.
Because sometimes on the road, and you see it so many times, when a guy, you know, when he followed that hole early on to claw back out of it, he ended up in the first half five of nine.
But – Man, he made some big-time throws there in the second quarter, got that momentum going, but he really faced adversity early on and turned the thing around.
