Mick BransfieldGuestI think you guys saw that inflation came in at three point seven percent, exactly as he predicted on this show.
Um, I know that's not your forte, but Pratik, as the market sort of moved towards the possibility of a rate hike, um, what...
Well, first of all, what I want to say is if you haven't seen it already, check out the great profile of Brian Golden.
I think we've circulated it on, uh, on Twitter, but, um, much well-deserved recognition.
Um, look, I, I mean, I've said in the past, uh, not my expertise, but I generally don't think politics, um, is a factor here.
But I would say follow Brian, follow Doug Campbell, um, and my high-level advice would be assume that these guys first and foremost are technocrats and responsible, uh, stewards rather than political hacks at the Fed.

If, if you believe it, if you buy the, uh, if you buy the hype, if you, uh, take the Chughli perspective that we're dealing with technocrats and not politicians at the Federal Reserve, this could be your chance to jump in on a four X trade.
Uh, not my expertise, but we'll make sure we talk about it with some people who are.
Um, Katie Zakaria, the new White House press secretary, speaking of trades priced at twenty-five cents, um, that is the current line on polymarket.com, that she is gone by the end of the year.
Um, are we, are we, are we putting a done chain on Katie Zakaria? Like, is this, um, is this long shot bias overpricing this? Do you have a gut reaction to this as a trader?
Um, I mean, look, like she could just get fired tomorrow, but I don't know that one early bad press conference is really enough for the White House to want to go through the headache of finding someone new.
I'm just skeptical they want to deal with this again, and certainly not before the midterms.
