How would you articulate the core message of the gospel of Jesus Christ to somebody who's unfamiliar with the religion or a nonbeliever?

And obviously there's cultural understanding and connotations to the gospel or who Jesus is.

And the church has a long track record of not always promoting Christ in the most authentic way according to Scripture.

So when we encounter people that maybe are unfamiliar with Christ or maybe they have misperceptions of what that means, What we like to share with them foremost is that they're loved by Jesus right where they're at.

And we find that that's probably one of the hardest things to get people to understand because how could God love them? If he's even real, how could he love them when so many people struggle to love themselves? So letting them know that they are loved right where they're at, but then giving them the hope and the encouragement that the love is so great that it meets you where you're at, but it doesn't leave you there.

Core message is obviously, you know, we want to be able to touch on the reality that we are, we all fall short of the glory of God.

And we, apart from Christ, entangle our lives with sin that our flesh may desire, but it brings destruction and disorder into our lives.

And that hope is not found in my willpower and my own strength to overcome the temptation.

It's found in my ability to surrender to Christ because the victory is already won in him.

So we love to be able to wrap that truth in the love of Christ, letting people know, you know, the reality is, you know, we do stand accountable.

That's the, that's the invitation that if we know the, you know, if we know we're going to stand accountable, uh, then through Christ, he's already paid that price, a debt that we couldn't pay the wages of sin is death, right? So Christ stood in our place for that.
