How would you articulate the core message of the gospel to someone unfamiliar with Christianity?

W- to be great speakers, we must be great listeners, and, uh, I, I wanna use, uh, 1 John 14.

Um, the word became flesh, and I, I often teach this in a lot of my evangelism stuff.

The incarnate nature, and we talk about the death and resurrection of Christ, and that's what leads us to salvation.

But prior to that, He came, He who knew no sin became sin, but He took up the form of man, you know? And so He lowered himself to us.

A- and so one of the things we as believers, evangelists, pastors need to do is, is not walk high and mighty or holier than thou, but we, we really need to learn to, to sit with people in their brokenness a- and kind of work them into the gospel message.

Uh, it's, it's almost like you gotta earn the right to share the gospel with them, and it's not necessarily that's what we need to do, but that's how we should do.

And I think of the Apostle Paul, and he, you know, he says, "I become all things for all men that many may be saved." You think of when he preached in Athens, you know, he used the philosophical method, because that's what they understood.

And so when we do that, I think we're opening a better door and a more peaceful entry into sharing the gospel message.
