PAGES with Luke Danowski

So we're going to I'm going to do a message that's called pages.

Can you say pages, pages, pages? I want you to consider this.

I don't want you to just believe it all.

Go home.

Read it in the Bible for yourself.

But pages is something that came to me a couple of years ago.

When my life wasn't going good, nobody will know about life not going good, because I'm sure everybody in here, life has always been going good.

But a couple years ago, when life wasn't going good, a couple years ago when you're 46 could be like 10, by the way.

A couple years ago is dependent on your age, what a couple years ago is.

And when I came out of that season, I said...

I hope that nobody sees this section of my life, because it's so complex and it's so messy, and I so love the Lord, and I'm so making good decisions, but I'm still making bad decisions.

I don't know if anybody's ever been in that season and you're like, if there's any page I don't want you to turn to, I don't want you to turn to this page.

You can see me when I was preaching, catch me when I was speaking in tongues, watch me be generous, but there was some pages in my book that I wish were not in there.

But they're in there anyways.

They're in there anyway.

So I started wrestling with this pages.

And one of the things that brought me comfort about this is that if he's the alpha and the omega, if he's the beginning and the end, then he's also the God of the middle.

So when I thought that I was messing up my story, I realized that he just kept on writing my story, and he was weaving, intertwining my successes and my failures.

So when somebody opened up my book, they see that I didn't have it all together, but I was faithful.

That I didn't make every right decision, but I praised him anyways.

He needed somebody to look inside my book.

and see the things I did wrong, but I stuck with it anyways.

So if God is the author and the finisher of our faith, then wherever you're at right now, he's not done writing your story.

The enemy comes in with this hopelessness.

You'll never outrun this.
