Fallout 4 mods have been on console for over two weeks now, and mods on the Xbox one have certainly been improving in both quantity, and quality. here's week two of our Fallout 4 Console/PC Mod…
So without further ado, let's do further! Sneaking its way into number one, we have the Real Nights with Real Lights mod, and this makes nights significantly darker in Fallout 4.
In vanilla Fallout, when you walk around, your visuals aren't really obstructed by nighttime in the game.
You can still see around pretty much just fine, and it's significantly brighter than real-life nighttime should be.
Well, this mod fixes that, makes nights significantly darker, while at the same time making your power armor light significantly stronger to balance it out to a more realistic extent.
Because in the game, in the vanilla version, when you're rocking around nighttime, it's pretty easy, you can see all around you, no problemo, and then that power armor light you have really just becomes an aesthetic, because you can still see around just fine.
Well now that power armor light becomes a necessity when you want to rock around and get stuff done, you know? All you can really see in front of you now is where you're shining that light at, so your peripherals are going to be left pretty much unguarded at all times, and you'll find yourself getting ambushed a lot more often, and it just adds a level of realism and depth that wasn't present in Vanilla Nighttime, which sounds kind of funny when you say it like that, but it's a really cool mod if you want to play like a survival playthrough, you just want to have a little bit more difficulty out of the game, this is definitely a mod for you.
You're going to get attacked at your flanks a lot more often, you're going to get attacked from behind just a lot more often, because you can't see in any of those directions anymore.
So I recommend this one if you want to go through the game a little bit more hardcore, if you will.
