There's all kinds of protests going on for various reasons, whether it's talking just satisfaction with the government or just dissatisfaction with the school hours.

There's all kinds of issues around the world.

And the biggest thing you can do as a pilot is be aware.

So if I'm going to Europe, the first thing I do is look in Factal and I pull up and see what's going on.

I look at the State Department website.

And I actually enroll myself in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program, which is acronym STEP.

And that gives me alerts.

So I put in my information.

Hey, I'm traveling to London on these days.

Here's the hotel I'm staying at.

The State Department now knows where I am.

And they'll send me individual alerts if there's something going on in that area.

Factal, as we've talked about before, is a great resource for all of us.

You know, it gives you proximity alerts as well as alerts for your designated spots that you care about, like your home, your kids' schools, or whatever else you want to be tracking.

So that, those two things together really help.

bring up the awareness and then the connectivity when you're on the layover, making sure you have a phone that has connectivity that you can get these alerts, because if you don't, it doesn't matter how much you sign up for.

You're not going to be able to get the information on time.

A lot of this is rapidly developing, so even when they No protests are showing up.

They may be in different areas or they may be a lot larger than they expected.

So that's the big thing is just remain aware, do your research, take some individual personal responsibility for your security, and that should help everybody win their own layovers.
