The Astrology of June 15-21, 2026 / Gemini New Moon + Chiron in Taurus

I just want to sort of quickly talk about Mars and something that I've been noticing is that Mars today and probably into tomorrow, it is at 20 degrees of Taurus.

And I know this is very specific.

Astrology is again about time and how we live time and Mars is an activator.

And it's time in Taurus is activating the energies of Taurus, sensuality, themes about money, security, stability, but also fertility.

Taurus is a sign of fertility.

But Mars getting to 20 degrees means that it's now square the upcoming solar eclipse to come on August 12th of 2026.

That solar eclipse will be 20 Leo and something that I've just noticed as an astrologer that even though the eclipse has not happened, it's two months to come, it's two and a half months to come, that sometimes when a planet, particularly Mars or the Moon, Saturn, but Saturn moves very slowly, we can see the eclipse before the eclipse.

So it's just something to take note of.

For example, when Mars was on the exact eclipse degree at the end of February, it activated the energy of the eclipse at the end of February, but that was right after we had the solar eclipse on February 17th.

What I want to say is that Leo is a sign, and even if you're thinking, but I have nothing in Leo, but you have all 12 zodiac signs in your astrology.

And Leo is a sign that's getting a lot of attention and activation in the second half of the year.

And what does it have to do with 20 Taurus? Well, these are two signs, Taurus and Leo, that are what are called fixed signs.

The fixed signs are about our lives, the parts of our lives that we want stable, secure, fixed.

And we noticed this the past few years when Uranus was in Taurus, a lot of things up and down.

But that said, begin to observe how you are seeing themes about this upcoming Leo eclipse come in this week.

identity, self, self-expression.

Leo is creativity.

Leo is art.

But Leo at the core is a sign that is about shining our light, shining our individuality.

Sometimes we hide our light.

Sometimes we're afraid to be ourselves.

And so on a deeper level, that is something that the eclipse will be activating for all of us as we get into August.
