So I'm glad you said that.

We're in negotiations for many bands for this upcoming season.

Negotiations.

Negotiations are taking place.

Several of the bands we're negotiating for have been around for less time than this podcast.

Well, today, definitely.

Definitely, right? Which is a very weird experience for us because we started doing this to talk to people who had 20-year careers.

So it feels quite odd.

It just feels odd.

We hadn't expected we'd be around this long, but like a barnacle on the bottom of a ship, we're not going anywhere.

We had to pivot

many times.

We've had to pivot.

The podcast has changed.

And I guess maybe this is another pivot now, acknowledging that most of the people we're going to be talking to we've been doing this longer than they have

yeah yeah yeah definitely it's it's weird isn't it because we have kind of some questions when we're working out the interviews like that we used to always do and now i'm like no we can't do that anymore we yeah i just think it's time right facts

But it just doesn't seem relevant.

A lot of our standard questions would say things like, how did you discover punk rock music? And we've stopped asking that because the answer is Spotify, unless you're 45.

Yeah,

they're like, I really loved 21 Pilots when I was growing up.

Well, this is it.

And I think that, as we know, our listening demographic is on the older side.

Nobody in attendance needs that kind of personal attack, quite frankly.

So we're not asking that anymore, unless, of course, it comes up in conversation.

But I've got no plan on asking that question ever again.
