So what prompted you to write a book? You had the podcast going, but you're like, yeah, I'd like to help other women, but why a book?

And what ended up happening was I spoke at TEDx Charlotte and I was in a class to learn how to write the speech and learn how to deliver the speech.

Anybody here who's thinking about buying a book, working with her is a little bit inaccessible, but you can definitely get her book anywhere that books are sold, write a must read.

And that means that you're going to come up with your reader statement, your core message and your promise to the reader before you even write the book.

And it sounds simple, but it's definitely not easy because you're really trying to get to the heart of what it is that you want your reader to learn about and to know so that you will not only get them to buy the book, but they will actually read the book.

How many people buy books and don't read them, right? They will finish the book.

And so that is why she is so adamant about being very conscientious about your reader statement, what is your core message, what's your promise? And then you take all that information and you write an outline of the book before you ever start to write.
