Aaron Grymes of facing Argos QB Chad Kelly and the significance of the Elks clinching a playoff spot for the first time in 6 seasons

Aaron, you've been a longtime member of this organization.

You've seen the highs, obviously, with the Grey Cup in 2015.

You've seen the lows of lows.

What does that X mean now to you that this team's going back to the playoffs?

I think it's massive for the organization.

There's a lot of people who are working here who haven't been here while we've been in the playoffs, right? There's a lot of fans who have been waiting for this moment, and they're showing up in big numbers now.

So it's massive.

And honestly, for the team, it's big too, right? It's one step closer to our ultimate goal, and we're just trying to check everything off on the way to it.

Yeah, and it impresses me that someone like Cody Fajardo says, that understands, okay, it hasn't been good here, right? Like someone like you has been a long, long standing guy.

There's a guy like him and there's others on this team that go, no, we want to take it upon ourselves to actually help bring the franchise into a better airspace, basically.

And I think that's pretty cool.

Yeah, agreed.

And that's really the motto, right? Like we just leave the place better than we found it, you know, and that's what we're trying to do.

And we're trying to, you know, get, you know, the city to rally around it and not just us, but the entire building.

This is an organizational thing from the top down, from the owners to the players.

And everybody's rolling in the same direction.

And it's beautiful.

I think people can see it now.

It's

a family here, right? Absolutely.

Yeah.

There's more to do, though, right? Yeah, exactly.

That was just that was just a milestone on the way to our ultimate goal.

Right.

And so it was nice to check it off.

But we obviously are nowhere close to where we want to be yet.
