We proudly present the twelfth episode of Eatbrain Radio Season 3, your guide to the dark side of drum and bass! Grimey, dutty and disgusting all the way! Hosted by @5ha5h label//…
Neon Light returned to Eat Brain with Leaving Wonderland.
After 14 years away from the label, their comeback already feels like a real moment.
This one is coming out on Monday and it shows a slightly different side of that return.
Still powerful, still precise, but with more emotion sitting underneath.
It's good to have them back on Eat Brain.
Bye.
Eikhoff steps in next with WHTNF, coming soon on Neuroheads.
And yes, the title stands for What Happened to Neurofunk, which already tells you the attitude behind it.
Eikhoff has always walked that line between raw aggression and technical control, and this tune feels like him asking the question by kicking the door open.
Midnight Cult comes through with no chance, forthcoming on Voltage Artists Music.
The title says plenty already.
This one has that full-contact energy, direct, gritty and built like it's not really interested in leaving any room for negotiation.
Zomboss enters the episode with Nuvertul and Don't Be Afraid.
Coming soon, this brings a different color into the mix.
Still made for the floor, but with that melodic tension Nuvertul does so well.
Emotional, dark and dangerous at the same time.
Noise Parfumerie brings us Liviatan, already out on Kossenprod.
The title fits the scale of the tune nicely.
Big, deep and moving like something huge under the surface before it finally shows itself.
Nelo and Ambion link up for Anciano, coming soon on Domain.
This one is a bit personal for me, because Nelo is a good friend and this is his first proper big solo EP.
By the way, Domain is the sister label of Overview Music, so it's a great place for this project to land.
This tune brings detail and a slightly different flavor into the selection.
Exactly the kind of thing I like hearing from artists stepping into a bigger release.
