Episode 152: RAMpocalypse

Are you on the beta at all? I am not.

Oh my gosh.

We're on a tech podcast and

you're not even on the betas? Dude, I got to tell you, we don't have time to talk about this today, but I want to talk about the iPhone Air battery life at some point because it's getting kind of bad for me.

And that's part of the reason why I don't have the betas installed on my phone.

I have been getting to a point where I'm charging every afternoon if I'm doing stuff.

That has started to happen.

And, frankly, I'm confused about that.

I mean, obviously, the beta has something to do with it.

But my – ooh.

That might explain it.

Okay.

My battery capacity is dropping like a stone.

I was at 250 cycles when we last talked about this on the podcast, which I think was in May or April.

So, like – you know two episodes ago for us but like two months ago yeah i'm only at 318 cycles so i've only added about 70 cycles but my battery health at that point was 99 and now it's 94 mine is let me tell you

i am at 329 cycles And my battery...

Okay, similar.

Pretty similar.

My battery is at 93% max capacity.

Oh, wow.

Yeah.

And like, look, neither of us expected really anything different.

When we bought the phone, we were like, it's acceptable.

But as we all know, it always... goes down, especially over, I don't know what it is about the, like, zero to 100, you're fine.

100 to 200, you're fine.
