So tonight I've had, I've had questions about, I would probably categorize them into part two and three.

Um, but is there anything you potentially wanna start? What's, what's the question you got asked the most, let's start with that, when you were working in the ADI examiner training, uh, or going out meeting ADIs, uh, and when people came to speak to you, what was the question you got asked the most?

I, I forgot to mention I retired two year ago, and I've probably had it more since because, um, now I'm not employed by DVSA, I can come and talk to people, like your good selves and the people on the call-

So I think probably the, the, the biggest thing is- What are the examiners looking for? How do I prepare for it is the big one.

How do I prepare for my part two, part three? And I think, um, it's changed a lot over the years w- with probably since COVID had a part in it, but modern technology as well, where people spend a lot of time, um, taking online lessons, for want of a better word, about how to coach, how to instruct, how to prepare for that.

Which is brilliant, but then one of the most... [sighs] One of the things that come up all the time, which I find a bit strange, shall we say, is that...

I got a call from a, a, a young gentleman who had his part three, came up, he asked me that question, "Any advice you can give, how do I prepare for my part three?" So I said, "Before we start that, let me ask you a question," typical fashion.

Um, "What have you done so far in preparation?" So he give me a long list of these courses he's attended online, in person, et cetera, et cetera, all to do with, um, qualifying as an ADI.

So I said, "That's brilliant." All the top names in the industry kind of thing were mentioned, or, or top people, brilliant, great stuff.

So what have you done since to put that information into practice and have somebody look at you delivering that information and how you're putting it into practice? Because if you're in the car by yourself, it's a, it's a kind of singular job, isn't it? Spend a lot of time by yourself.

So how do you know you're putting that information into place correctly?" And the answer was none.
