Anyways, so back to entering our permission slip era, which basically means the only person that we care about writing the permission slip is ourselves.

Because who are we waiting for? Like nobody is going to give us a permission slip that takes us away from making everybody else comfortable, right? And when we say permission, we're not literally saying, oh, can I do this? No.

It's more subtle than that, right? It's like checking everybody's face before we say what we want to say.

I'm a recovering people pleaser, so I used to like to take everybody's temperature in the room and then decide what I was going to say or how I was going to react, right? So it's basically just softening what we want.

I feel like you need to do a series on, I'm not on TikTok, but somewhere on some form of whatever, wherever you show up socially, you need to do a series.
