How much is someone's wealth a reflection of the economy versus themselves?

A lot of talk is happening right now about federal budget will affect today's businesses and most importantly, future entrepreneurs

as

well.

Somebody asked me this question the other day.

He said, are you planning to move out of Australia? I said, Why? He said, oh, if you sell your company for a billion, you're going to pay half a billion dollars in taxes.

I said, put it this way.

You could be living in a fucking Middle East, in Iran somewhere.

You know what's taxed over there? Bombs flying above your fucking head.

That is the worst kind of tax you can have.

At least here, yeah, we're going to be taxed more.

Nobody fucking likes it.

I don't like it either.

But at least I just drove from Brisbane to Gold Coast.

Beautiful sky.

No bombs flying above my head.

I got here safe.

Amazing.

What can I complain about? I actually see this almost as opportunity.

And I'll tell you why.

All of this federal budget...

Stuff is affecting a lot of business owners.

It's affecting a lot of property investors in general.

And a big number of business owners and investors, they are fucking heavily put to break up.

and they are going into this defense mode.

With me, I was like, fucking great.

Imagine you're going against 10 people in business and eight of them are just holding back.

Competition is a lot less.

Double down, triple down, and fucking go harder, whatever you were doing before.

And so us as humans, we just have to adapt.

Tax is tax.

What can I do now? I can cry about it or look for the ways how can I maybe triple down in my revenue to maybe make same amount of money that I was making before because tax was less.

I mean, it is what it is.

And mentally, can that affect people and their business? Of course.

But as a business owner, we are built to for challenges.

And this is just one of them.
