It's been a while since then.
We might chat a wee bit.
But there's a few changes to the starting line-up and probably a bit of a change of shape when we saw the starting XI.
Yeah.
When I seen it, it looked to me like a 4-2-3-1 on paper.
And it was bizarre, eh? During the game, it was quite hard to work it out at times.
But I think that was probably more due to the movement that was going on.
I felt like we were moving around the park a lot better.
And people were sort of switching and changing quite often, particularly that sort of front three, if you like, behind the striker.
I felt like they were sort of changing and moving well.
But I definitely read it as a 4-2-3-1.
And that was kind of how, at the start of the game, when I was looking at it, I went, ah, yeah, it is a 4-2-3-1.
So, yeah, it was good.
I thought the shape worked well.
And it was nice to see us trying something different, wasn't it?
And Liam, I know you'll do anything apart from shag formations, but in theory, it was one of those ones where sometimes it looked like we had three at the back and sometimes it looked like four.
It just seemed like we were happy to adapt to the circumstances of how the game was progressing.
It's nice to see that fluidity.
I know Gray's come under quite a bit of scrutiny for never changing it up, but it did feel like something a bit different from what we've typically seen under Gray.
