And so it definitely was kind of a shift from, you know, I went to more Shabbat dinners in the two months after October 7th than the year before.

But, um, what about being in school in the Middle East Studies department? What kind of classes, what kind of discourse, what kind of narratives, um, demonization narratives are you being, um, introduced to?
It was more of an intellectual debate in class on whether this is right or wrong.
For, for instance, my sophomore year, I took a class about, uh, the, the post-World War II Middle East and reshaping borders, and one of the pictures we were presented on screen was the disappearing Palestine with the, the-
